Penny Papaioannou - Owner and Founder has over 30 years experience as a business owner and has spent the last 13 years as a business broker advising sellers and buyers in business transitions.  Her expertise ranges from selling profitable businesses in retail, manufacturing, service sectors and health care businesses ranging from $250,000 to over 7 million in sales price.  After a successful career as a top producing business broker, Penny expanded Atlantic Business Brokers, LLC with two divisions to better serve the clients needs.  Atlantic Business Group is a Business Brokerage, Merger & Acquisition firm that is agnostic to industry and services the Lower to Mid- Market businesses with sales from $500,000 to $20,000,000.  The newest division is Atlantic Health Care Capital that is a Business Brokerage, Merger & Acquisition firm with the core focus on health care related businesses in the $500,000 to $20,000,000 in sales range.  Penny’s extensive knowledge in the business sales process has enabled her to facilitate all types of transactions from small deals to more complicated larger transactions.

    Determine a realistic price for the business. We offer a comprehensive opinion of value using rules of thumbs and industry specific comps tailored for your business. We can help you figure out a price range that is realistic and gets you the best deal. Pricing a business is both an art and a science.Once we determine a price point, we put together a comprehensive confidential selling memorandum. We are ready to go to market.

     Marketing

    Our Marketing  and sales process of a business is done in a very confidential matter. We have a large data base of buyers as well as a reach out to perspective buyers that are in the market.  Protecting the confidentiality of the business while marketing is taken seriously and protecting that confidentiality through out the process, while bring buyers to the table. That's what we do.

    Qualified Buyers 

    When we match a buyer  interested in a business, we will carefully and thoroughly pre screen and discuss what exactly is the type of business that the buyer is interested in and that they are a good fit.  We also make sure to get all the necessary financial information from a buyer and we also will work with them to help them with bank financing if needed. All Buyers must first sign a Confidentiality Agreement  prior to giving out any information on any business. All Buyers are financially pre-qualified.

    We have a qualified, ready and willing buyer. The buyer and seller have met and have had a few discussions , preliminary due due diligence has been done and an offer has been made. We assist in the negotiations, help in preparing and facilitating the due diligence process, work with the attorneys and accountants, we work with the lender  and keep the process moving forward.
